GV II
Pair of attached houses, formerly 3 houses. Early C19 with some C20 alterations.
Granite rubble, tiled and asbestos slate roofs with brick gable end stacks; part
rendered.
Plan: front range has house to right and left, with central triple porch, giving
entrance to front houses and central entrance to passage leading to house in rear
range.
2 storeys and 4 windows, house to left has 2 C20 windows at first floor, paired 18-
pane sash at ground floor. House to right has paired sash at first floor left, 16-
pane sash at first floor right, similar paired sash to ground floor right. Central
porch has hipped roof with scalloped bargeboards with pierced trefoils, central door
with cover strips and glazed panel, boxed porch formed to left and right with doors
to outer sides and 4-light windows. Right gable end rendered, with C20 first floor
window and single storey lean-to. Rear parallel range has roof hipped to left,
central ridge stack and gable end brick stack, 2 paired 18-pane sashes with cambered
stone heads at first floor, ground floor has C20 window and lean-to to right.
