19/299 Parish Church of All Saints 13.7.64 - I
C15 church in coursed limestone rubble, on prominent site opposite Odell Castle. Chancel, double-aisled nave, west tower. Two bay chancel with sedilia and piscina, also priest's door; C15 screen. Four bay nave with clerestory over having four 2-light windows on each side, and low-pitched roof with carved corbels. North aisle has three 3-light side windows and one at each end. South aisle windows are similar but taller: trefoiled ogee-headed piscina at south-east end. Porch has tierceron star vault. Monumentally proportioned tower of four stages with clasping buttresses, paired transomed two-light belfry openings, a tracery frieze and pinnacles. Octagonal C15 font, C17 gallery and screens under tower arch, C17 pews, C15 rood screen, C15 stained glass fragments, C17 and C18 Alston monuments.
