- side of settlement at North Beer

Farmhouse. Circa 1840s-1860s. Stone rubble with brick dressings. Slate roof with
hipped ends. Brick rendered end stacks.
Plan: Double depth plan with central entrance with probably original timber pot..n
Wide passage containing framed stair and small lobby directly to rear of stair. 2
principal rooms on front with dairy to rear left and kitchen to rear right.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window front with central timber porch which
has incised pilasters and diagonal glazing bars. C19 inner panelled door. Two 16-
pane hornless sashes on ground floor with 2 above and central 12-pane sash. Brick
dressings to window openings with brick segmental arches.
Interior: Complete. C19 framed stair with turned newels stick balusters, and
ramped moulded rail. C19 painted Delabole slate chimney-piece in right hand room.
