6/24 East Langton Farmhouse
GV II
Substantial farmhouse. Early C19 entrance front with probably mid C18 gabled wing to rear. Dressed sandstone, limewashed at front; moderately-pitched roof of asbestos tiles to front, moderately-pitched Welsh slate roofs to rear; three rendered brick stacks. 2-storey, 4-bay entrance front has raised quoins, Tuscan doorcase with 6-panel door in third bay from left, and 4-pane sashes with raised sills and flush lintels. 2-storey, single-bay gabled wing to rear has alternate quoins, a 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash and flat-coped gables with shaped kneelers. Slightly-swept roof at entrance front has coped gable parapets with shaped kneelers, projecting eaves and gutter supported on a row of small, square brackets. Two gable stacks and one ridge stack.
Single-storey, single-bay addition to right and detached cart shed to rear not of special interest.
