MEDMENHAM FERRY LANE SU 88 SW (west side) 8/115 Yew Tree Cottage, Picketts Cottage and Weybrook Cottage 21.6.55 GV II Row of 3 cottages. 4 C16 bays to right, with one C17 bay and one 1970s bay to left. C16 and C17 bays are timber framed with brick infill, formerly colourwashed. C16 bays have curved braces to centre, traces of close studding, and some thin brick infill. Plain tile roof. Central chimney and external stack to right are of thin brick; later brick chimney to left of C17 bay. 2 storeys. Paired leaded casements, mostly C20; barred wooden window to ground floor centre. C20 door in gabled porch to left; old board door in C20 lean-to porch to right of centre; C20 door and casement in hipped porch to right. Interior: heavy curved braces to tie-beams, and curved wind-braces in C16 bays; chimney stack, probably C17, inserted in left C16 bay, with winder stairs in line.
