Row of four attached estate houses, now three houses. Mid - late C19 with few later
alterations. Slatestone rubble with brick dressings; two houses to right rendered.
Slate roofs with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stacks and axial stacks with
shaped tops and cornices.
Plan: Two pairs of one-room plan houses. The two to left are at higher roof level.
Each pair have shared central entrances, outer rooms heated from gable end stacks,
inner rooms heated from axial stacks. The pair to right are now one house.
Exterior: The two houses to left are 2 storeys, symmetrical 2-window front with C19
windows; ground floor has central pitched hood over two plain doors, 2-light 6-pane
casement with brick segmental head to right and left. First floor has similar 2-light
casements in gabled dormers with bargeboards and finials. Two houses to left, now
one, also 2-storey with nearly symmetrical 3-window front. Ground floor has single
light and 2-light casement to left, the casement formerly a door; plain door with
glazed panel and 2-light casement to right. First floor has three 2-light casements
with cambered heads in gabled dormers with bargeboards and finials. Single storey
lean-to attached to right with half-glazed door and C20 window.
