21/103 Barn to south-west of 12.2.62 High Hallbeck Cottage
G.V. II
Barn. Probably C18 with C19 alterations. Stone rubble with quoins and slate roofs. L-plan. Short north-west wing has lean-to cow house and barn entrance up ramp to north-west side. North-east gable end has square ventilation holes, and ventilation slots to lower level. To south-east side, a segmental-headed entrance with brick arch and winnowing door, both with pivoted doors. South-west wing has dripcourses to both sides; north-east side has 2 entrances, one now blocked, 2 windows and 2 loading doors with brick segmental arches. Ventilation holes. South-east gable-end has dovecote to gable and later lean-to outbuilding. South-west elevation has ventilation holes and inserted windows.
