Pair of attached houses. Circa mid C19, with few later alterations. Granite ashlar
front; stone rubble at the sides. Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable
end stacks and axial stacks with brick shafts.
Plan: Pair of attached houses, with No 20 to left and No 22 to right. Both of double
depth plan. No 20 has a large room to left and smaller room to right, with entrance
between. No 22 has doorway to left and large room to right. Both with shallow rear
service rooms.
Exterior: 2 storeys, nearly symmetrical 7-bay front on plinth, with quoins, band
course and deep bracketed eaves. First floor has seven mid C19 12-pane sashes with
voussoirs and keystones. Ground floor has 2 similar sashes to left and right. The
centre 3 bays have two C19 4-panelled doors with overlights, pilasters and flat hood
on stone brackets; similar central sash. The right end has C20 French windows to
right.
