Inn. Late C18th/early C19th. Painted ashlar; mansard roof, double Roman tiles to left, hipped slate to right; all behind modern brick parapet, cornice. Ashlar stacks on raised coped verges. Two storeys and attics in dormers. Four windows: 16-pane sashes to left, sashes with horizontal bars to right; modern windows on ground floor. Four pilasters to left under frieze and cornice. Plat band below first floor.
Side elevation (to Avondale Place). Ashlar; slate mansard roof. Two storeys and attics in dormer. Thre windows, glazing bar sashes, two to right are set close together. Plat band. Panelled door to left under flat stone hood on brackets.
