6/96 Nos 1, 3 (Penlee) and 5 - GV II
3 adjoining houses, originally a pair. Early C19. Red brick front on rubble base rendered side walls and hipped scantle slate roof with brick chimney over side wall, left and brick axial chimney over central party wall. Originally 2 identical houses, each with 2 room, double depth, central stair plan, but left house converted to 2 houses probably C19. Built on steep slope down to left with basement under left house. 2 storeys with converted attics. 2 3-window fronts. Central paired doorways to left houses and original central doorway to right house. Panelled doors. Hoods over. 16-pane sashes in original openings with granite sills and cambered brick arches with granite keystones. C20, flat roofed, roof dormer to second house (ie Penlee) and 2 old hipped roof dormers with C20 P.V.C. windows to right house ie. No 5. Interiors not inspected. Raised pavements to front with round-arched doorway to basement of left houses. C20 iron railings.
