Details
GWENNAP SW 74 SE 5/105 Wheal Clifford, Powder House, part - part of the United Mines GV II Gunpowder storage house. Early-mid C19. Lime-washed killas rubble with timber lintels and scantle slate roof with finial. Round single-cell plan. Single storey. Doorway to north, now boarded up, and window to north east. A remarkably intact example of this very rare building type. Sited at a distance from other structures in case of explosion.
