5/32 Church Farmhouse and attached garden wall and gate piers
G.V. II
Farmhouse. C17 with C18 and C19 extensions to rear. Rubble with fragments of render to south side wall, dressed stone copings, wooden lintels and double Roman tile roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows. All windows are 2-light C19 casements. Central door with flush beaded panels and 3 rectangular fanlights set in moulded surround with stop chamfered bases. C20 concrete flat hood on carved brackets. End stone stacks. Rear wall to former courtyard now covered in has a 3-light ovolo mullion window. Also 3-light edge moulded mullion window on rear wall of C18 wing. On south wall of C17 section below the eaves is an C18 sundial with Latin inscription and the words 'JOHN DEWRY FECIT'. Rubble wall to garden with dressed stone piers, moulded cornices and stone ball finials.
