17.9.52 Nos 63 and 65 (The George Hotel) GV II*
Late C16/early C17. Rubble. Pantile and double Roman tile roof. Central large diagonal stack, rubble and rendered. Two storeys and attic in 3 Cotswold gables with ball finials. Five windows, glazing bar sashes with plain stone architraves and moulded cornices. Large square-headed, central carriage entrance.
Elaborate C18 projecting cast iron bracket (holding inn sign).
Interior: Arch-braced collar truss roof with crude windbracing. Some chamfered beams
