House, now divided into flats. Early-mid C19, Ashlar, Welsh slate roof. Main block two storeys, three x four bays; service range to rear three storeys, three x two bays. Main block has plinth; giant pilasters; eaves band and cornice breaking forward over pilasters; parapet with sections of balustrade, the balusters square, and above the pilasters pediments on coupled pilasters or, at corners, round-arched panels with palmette motif. Sashes with glazing bars throughout, some replaced, those on ground floor larger; and six-pane sashes to service range second floor.
Entrance front: central Ionic portico with frieze, cornice and blocking course (part-balustraded) fronts pilastered doorcase with C20 door. Console-shouldered, pedimented architraves to flanking windows; bracketed architraves to first-floor windows and cornice to central window. Various multi-flued, corniced stacks, Returns of main range in same style, the end ground-floor windows of left return as front, with the central windows flanked by paired pilasters under frieze with wreaths; the disposition of the corresponding right return windows is reversed.
Service range: plinth, cornice, blocking course; windows have stone lintels and projecting sills, a number of sashes replaced and some windows inserted to rear. A doorway to each side (two on the right return), that to rear and to right return on left being original and having pilasters, frieze and cornice; right return has also a tripartite window with monolithic lintel.
