Row of three dwellings and converted barn. No. 406 dated 1631, Barn Cottage dated 1638. Altered. Deeply coursed hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof. Two storeys. Nos. 406 and 408 were probably formerly one dwelling with central chamfered doorway dated E 1631 H. Now No. 408, to left, has doorway and altered four-light window to each floor, all C19. No. 406 uses original doorway and has one four-light double chamfered window to each floor, both with two mullions removed, and further two-light window to ground floor with mullion removed. Both ground floor windows formerly had common hood mould. Barn Cottage has one four-light double chamfered window to each floor, and to right is doorway with heavily moulded arched lintel dated EH 1638. To right is recently converted barn.
