Farmhouse. C17 or early C18 origin though considerably rebuilt.
Deeply coursed hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Stone slate roof
with gable copings on cut kneelers. Two storeys. L-plan. The
2 main fronts, at 90°, are of 3 bays with recent window openings.
Central doorway to garden front with chamfered surround. Two doorways
to the other front at 90°. The left gable has a 2-light double
chamfered window in the apex, and evidence of an early window to ground
and 1st floors, both with hood moulds remaining. At the rear is a
blocked early doorway with deep lintel, and a tall, double chamfered
window with hood mould.
