GV II
Engine house to cotton mill. Probably c1870-80. Brick with
slate roof. Rectangular plan on east-west axis. One high
storey, 4 windows; tall round-headed windows with triple
keystones and small-paned glazing; gable copings with ball
finials. One-window west gable in matching style; east gable
covered by later additions. INTERIOR not yet inspected, but
contained steam engine when listed in 1982. Forms group with
associated mill chimney (qv).
