House; now divided into 2 shops on the ground storey with a flat above. Early-to-mid C16 core; C19 front. Timber-framed and rendered; jettied along the front; steeply-pitched slate roof with a wide eaves overhang. 2 storeys. 3 window range: sashes without glazing bars in flush cased frames. Plaster coving covers the ends of the jetty. 2 C19 shop fronts to the ground storey with recessed central entries. INTERIOR: frame in 3 bays. On the left, a 2-bay ground storey room has the main cross-beams exposed with double roll-mouldings and large curved stops. The remaining bay has no original features visible. Upper storey not inspected.
