Houses with underdwellings. Early to mid C19. Hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof. Gable copings, and stone brackets. Three and 4 storeys. North-west elevation (Nos 18 and 20): terraced frontage with entrance and 2-light window to ground floor. Probable former 6-light window to each dwelling to first floor each with raised sill, now with centre 2 lights blocked. Second floor formerly as first but now each dwelling has 2 single lights. South-east elevation (Nos 12 to 16): handed elevation with entrance to left and right and two 2-light windows. First, second and third floors each had one 6-light stone mullioned window to each dwelling with raised sill. Now several lights are blocked.
