Large house. Late C.18 or early C.19 with later additions. Hammer dressed stone with rusticated ashlar quoins. Stone slate roof with gable copings. 2 storeys and attic. 3 bay symmetrical gable facade, with central portico on paired Greek Doric columns with entablature and pediment. Large 2-light sashes to each side (possibly enlarged). Sash windows to 1st floor in plain surround. In pediment-like gable is thermal window. Later addition to left. Later single storey addition, in keeping, to right. Rear elevation has thermal window in gable. Round arched staircase window and 2-tier round arched window to right at 1st floor level.
