KEIGHLEY SOUTH STREET SE 04 SE (east side) 5/260 Mill building at former Prospect Mill
- II
Mill office building. Mid C19. Ashlar, Westmorland slate roof. One storey with basement, 4 bays. Moulded plinth band. Bays defined by rusticated pilasters with entablature with dentilled cornice and blocking course which breaks forward over pilasters. Round-arched openings in architraves with keystones and imposts. 6-panel door with fanlight on right, the keystone on ram's head; sashes to other bays. Hipped roof. Central stack. Right return: 2 bays with round-arched sashes under moulded heads with keystones and continuous hoodmould. Stepped eaves band. Formerly associated with Prospect Mill, an early C19 worsted mill now mostly demolished.
