1/3 Height Gate Farmhouse and attached barn -
G.V. II House, early C18, with added barn mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-room plan. 3 cells each with chamfered mullioned windows to both floors of 4 lights. Some lack mullions. 1st cell has doorway with monolithic jambs. 2nd cell has porch with asbestos leanto roof and altered wide window. Quoins. 2 stacks to ridge and one other to single storey out shut to rear. Barn at right angles to left hand end has basket arched cart entry on skewbacks with rusticated voussoirs. Over is a Venetian window with projecting false keystone.
