Row of cottages. Early C19. Watershot masonry, ashlar dressings to front and rear, hand made brick to gables, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, double pile on plan under single span roof. 4 bays. Quoins to angles and junctions of lst and 2nd, and 2nd and 3rd bays. lst bay has doorway with sill tie and flat faced mullioned window of 2 lights with same over. Other 3 bays each have doorway with sill tie and 3-light flat faced mullioned window to each floor. Stone brackets to nos. 43 and 45. One stack to ridge, 2 offset stacks, one stone, one brick. Similar window pattern survives to rear which is partly rendered. Nos. 43 and 45 were constructed first, no. 41 was added and then finally no. 39 all within a short time of each other.
