2. Dated 1741, a 2-storey gritstone house altered and extended circa 1870-80. Large quoins. Stone slate roof, corniced chimneys. Three windows, squared surrounds, late C19 ornately leaded sashes. Gabled stone porch added C19, screening squared jamb doorway with slightly 4 centred arch, plaque over inscribed B over W R, 1741. Single-storey east wing. Interior has good late C19 plasterwork and cast iron balusters to the staircase supplied by the Low Moor Company.
