House and cottage. House, mid C18, cottage added slightly later. Dressed stone to front, coursed rubble to sides and rear, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. South front has cottage to left with quoined angles and doorway with monolithic jambs to left of 3-light flat-faced mullioned stepped window with sane over to 1st floor. Coped gable with kneelers and stack to left end. House, attached to right, has higher roof line. 3-bay symmetrical facade. Rusticated quoins. Doorway with pilaster- strip has triangular pediment. To either side 2-light windows with flat- faced mullions with inner chamfer and raised plain stone surrounds, retain 12-paned sashes. Moulded gutter brackets. Coped gables with cyma- moulded coping and kneelers. Rear has central double-chamfered cross- window at mezzanine level to light stair. To left, 2-light chamfered mullioned window. Doorway with tie-stone jambs. Quoins at junction with cottage which has 3-light flat-faced mullioned window to each floor with slightly recessed mullions with inner chamfer.

Interior: House: lobby-entry against stack. Dog-leg staircase with finely turned C17 balusters possibly re-used. Cottage has large chamfered spine beams and remains of brick-lined bee-hive oven.
