8/87 Nos88 and attached cottage to rear, 90 and 92/94

Probably 3 cottages, now 5. c1748 altered mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Main interest is in pair of original doorways with composite jambs and deep lintel with false ogee formed by chamfered surround. That to left is inscribed "ICM" 1748. 3 new doorways and all windows are altered. 2 stacks to ridge. Small single-cell cottage to rear has parallel ridge, gable- entry with monolithic lintel and 1st-floor taking-in door with composite jambs and deep lintel. This part ruinous. Included for group value.
