Early C17 L-plan farmhouse of 2-storeys, roughly coursed gritstone with large quoins.
Stone slate roof. Left hand broad gabled break to front with saddlestone and
kneelers. Five light, chamfered mullion, splayed reveal windows to both floors,
drip moulds; blocked first floor doorway. Outshut on north end. Return side of
break has first floor doorway reached by stone steps; 4 centred chamfered lintel
inscribed "Td 1614". This left hand part of the house has been adapted as an
outbuilding-barn. Main range of front has former 5 light now 3 light chamfered
mullion window to centre of first floor. Flanking windows of 3 lights, altered in
part with C19 sashes or casements. Chamfered doorway with massive triangular lintel.
Weathered string over ground floor. Outshut to rear. Some exposed beams inside.
