Details
OWSTON OWSTON VILLAGE SE 51 SW, SE 51 SE 10/l12 Cartshed immediately 10 Jan 1980 to east of Pear Tree Cottage (formerly listed as Cartshed south-east of cottage at north end of Village) GV II Cartshed. Early C19. For the Owston Hall estate. Brick and rubble limestone, slate roof. 1 storey; L-shaped with 2- and 3-bay arcades facing internal angle. Each bay has a round brick-arched opening divided by square brick pier on stone plinth. Boarded doors to bay 2 and 3 of the 3-bay part. Brick eaves band to hipped roof.
Interior: pattern book king-post trusses. Part of Home Farm complex.
