TOWN OF DONCASTER MILETHORN LANE SE 50 SE (north end)
3/72 Lock at Strawberry Lock II
River lock. Mid C18. Stone. Rectangular chamber about 12 feet wide by 20 feet long. Chamber has indents for gates to either end, gates now missing, and remains of chamfered copings. Later stone bridge built over to northern end. Part of the Don Navigation which was started c1750. Disused and partly derelict at time of resurvey.
