Pair of houses, now shops and offices. 1754, built by master carpenter William Pikard, with C20 alterations. Red brick with stone and gauged brick dressings colourwashed to No 24, slate roofs. Each of three storeys and three bays. Both houses have full width C20 shop fronts to ground floor and first floor ashlar sill bands. No 25 to right has three full height first floor 12-pane sashes and three 6-pane sashes with projecting sills above. All windows below flat gauged brick arches. No 24 has three tall first-floor C20 casement windows, three 2-light similar windows above, all in similar openings to those to No 25. Dentilled stone cornice across both houses and moulded stone copings to end gables on moulded stone kneelers, central shared brick ridge stack.
