Barn with attached horse engine house. Late C18; engine house and
alterations C19. C20 addition. Rubblestone brought to course;
pantile roofs with stone kneelers, copings and ridges. 3-bay barn,
formerly having cow stalls with loft over; engine house on south
side. Quoins. North side : mostly masked by C20 brick addition
which is not of special interest. On right, board stable door in
quoined surround, with slit vents above. Rear: engine house has
semi-octagonal end and stone piers; barn has board stable door in
quoined surround on left. Right return: slit vents. Left return:
loft opening with stone surround. Interior: barn has C19 braced
king-post roof trusses and staggered butt purlins; large-scantling
beams in engine house.
