House now with 2 shops. Probably C16 in origin with an C18 exterior. Rubblestone, rendered, with a machine tile and pantile roof with stone slate on lower courses. Possibly originally an open hall with half-timbered, gabled, jettied cross wing to right. 2 storeys, 4 bays, right bay breaking forward. Late C19 shopfronts. Board door to left, to its right a half-glazed door with architrave. Central passageway openings, to right bay a board door and a 4-pane sash, 1st floor: left-and right-hand bays have 4-pane sashes, the centre bays have sashes with glazing bars. Ridge stack and roof hipped to right. Interior: between bays 2 and 3 a large tie beam with struts above the level of the 1st floor. Below chimney is a half timbered wall, which has C16 timber and plaster smokehood with cambered ties to the chimney breast. The C18 stack rests on top of this structure.
