HIGH AND LOW BISHOPSIDE WATH LANE SE 16 NE (north side, off) 13/66 Yeadon Farmhouse and attached outbuilding

Farmhouse and attached outbuilding under continuous roof. C17 refronted in C18, and with later alterations. Coursed squared stone, ashlar with graduated stone slate and Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bay house with single-bay outbuilding to left. Quoins. Central board door in chamfered stone surround. To right a square window opening and to left a 6-pane casement, both in plain stone surrounds. First floor: to left an 8-pane casement in plain stone surround and to right a 4-pane casement in similar surround. Left-hand bay with board door to left in plain stone surround below cantilevered stone steps up to plain doorcase. 6-pane ground-floor window and remains of sash window above. Shaped kneelers, stone copings. End stack to right and one to ridge. Right return has outshut with board door in plain stone surround. To rear is a 2-light chamfered mullion window. Interior: a large late C17 fireplace with shaped stone consoles and mantelshelf.
