SE 3171 RIPON MINSTER ROAD 1/181 12.10.77 Wall to The Old Court House, running from No 23 Kirkgate along south and east sides the garden or The Old Court House, as far north as The Court House.

Limestone ashlar. Probably C19, but possibly older, incorporating various mediaeval fragments, viz:- One trefoil-headed lancet (blind). One 2-centred arched doorway with moulded imposts and voussoirs, and hoodmould decorated with nailhead. Timber planked door, probably C16, with segmental head and fleur-de-lys in spandrels. One ashlar rainwater spout. One unmoulded 2-centred arched gateway. One C19 2-centred arched gateway, over which wall is ramped upwards.
