Peach Tree Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Late C17. Local narrow reddish-brown brick, stretcher bond. 3-course
stepped and moulded 1st floor string and coursed-in brick pilasters to 1st floor.
Stepped eaves and shaped corbels to gable end facing street. Welsh slate roof with
raised verge to east gable end. Ridge and end chimneys. L-shaped. 2 storeys.
3 wide irregular bays and projecting gable bay at left. Modern casements. Blocked
opening to attic storey of gable. Elliptical arched rusticated brick door surround.
Yorkshire fire insurance sign dated 1824.
