SE 76 NE HUTTONS AMBO A 64 (south side, off) High Hutton 6/4 Hutton Hall
GV II Hall, now flats. c1820 with later C19 alteration and extension; remodelled in C20. Chiselled sandstone with sandstone ashlar plinth and dressings; slate roof. Originally symmetrical H-plan; wings extended to rear later and third wing added to right. 2-storey, 5-bay main range, with single-storey portico between recessed flanking bays; full-height canted bay windows to each end; further 2-storey wings to right, of 3 and 2 bays respectively. Doric portico contains double doors of raised and fielded panels. 4-pane sashes throughout ground floor. Radial-glazed sash over portico, in raised round-arched surround with keystone and imposts. Unequal 15-pane sashes on either side and 12-pane sashes to remainder of first floor. Plain raised surrounds to all windows, with keyblocks to those of main range. Ground- floor sill band and raised first-floor band. Moulded projecting cornice and coped parapet. Full achievement between volutes raised over parapet to centre. End and right and left of centre stacks.
