Range of outbuildings approximately 15 metres east of Douthwaite

Coach-house, now garage, and stables with lofts; attached wall and
outbuildings. Orange-red brick in random bond with sandstone dressings;
stone slate roofs. 1-storey and attic, 2-window stable buildings, with 1-
storey flanking bays; attached wall at right with 1-storey, 4-bay range of
outbuildings at right end. Coach-house and stables: paired plank doors left
of centre between 12-pane sash windows: similar door and window in right
half. Loft windows are paired shouldered lights with diamond lattice
glazing. Central cupola with ogee cap. Opening to former coach-house at
left altered. Right flanking bay contains round-arched gateway with
openwork timber gate. All gables are coped. Stable building returns have
round-arched louvred openings in gable ends. Wall and outbuildings: wall
has round-arched openings in rusticated surrounds containing plank doors.
Outbuilding has 2 wide panelled doors at right of windows of paired
shouldered lights with diamond lattice glazing. Coped gables and left end
stack.
