Sundial. Pedestal dated 1819; sundial dated 1824. Dressed sandstone with
copper gnomon. Square section pedestal approximately 1 metre high, raised
on 3 steps, with circular dial stone on top. Pedestal inscribed on 4 faces.
East face John Brown Joseph Ward Masons
North face William Strickland AD 1819 (A indecipherable)
West face Quod hora est vide
South face Time and life move swiftly
Edge of dial stone inscribed "AM 5824".
