Details
EGTON NZ 70 NE 2/1 Church Dale Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse. Early C19, altered and reroofed c.1850. Herringbone-tooled sandstone on plinth, with slate roof. Central stairhall plan, 1½ rooms deep with service wing to side. 2-storey, 3-window front with pent 2- storey, 1-window wing at right. 4-panel door with overlight and 16-pane sash windows to main front, and 4-pane sash to first floor of wing. Stone sills to all windows, and herringbone-tooled lintels to all openings. Corbelled eaves. Coped gables, block kneelers and end stacks to main roof. Pent roof to wing.
