5/152 Tempest Arms Public House
II
Public House, 1786 and 1801. Coursed squared rubble, stone slate roof. Two storeys. The part originally the public house is of four bays with quoins. The first bay has 3-light recessed square mullion windows. The second bay has the former doorway, with plain surround and hood. Over this is a plaque lettered BH 1786 and the Tempest Arms. The third bay has 2-light flush square mullion window above a single light. The right hand portion, previously a barn or stable, has a flat arched entry with D TE 1801 carved on the keystone. Four stacks.
