INGLETON BELL HORSE GATE SD 6873-6973 14/2 Nos 1 - 3 (inclusive) 20.2.58 GV II Formerly one, now 2 houses. c1700, with mid-C18 and C20 alterations. Slobbered, squared rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance right of centre in c1740 gabled porch of rusticated stone. Keyed lintel with 5 imitation voussoirs, outer ones joggled, centre 3 dropped, giving the impression of dropped keystone; pediment; c1970 glazed door. Right-hand C19 entrance has plain surround, c1970 glazed door. To left at lower level is entrance with c1970 door, and left-hand segmental arched lintel to window with 4 pane fixed light, was former entrance. 2 ground floor windows, left-hand window to mezzanine, 3 upper floor windows, that to left being single light with chamfered surround, rest have plain surrounds and C20 casements. Gable end shaped kneelers. Left- hand projecting gable end ridge stack, left and right of centre ridge stacks.
