Public house, now three houses. Late C18. Dressed stone with hipped stone
slate roofs. The front to High Street has two storeys and five bays altenating
doors and windows. Plain surrounds to 6-pane raised and fielded doors and to
the windows which are sashed, with glazing bars except to the central first
floor window. The two central windows are tripartite. The front to West Street
is of three bays with glazing bar sashes, those to the ground floor in segmental
headed recesses. To the left is a taller portion with two garage doors, and
above it a large tripartite window under a segmental relieving arch. This is
sashed with glazing bars and treated as an engaged Ionic colonnade in antis.
