SE 04 NE BRADLEYS BOTH HIGH BRADLEY 3/1 White House and White Cottage II

Farmhouse, probably later C17 but with altered windows; C19 cottage attached. Slobbered rubble with stone slate roof and stone ridge. Two storey former porch near centre of facade. To either side of this were a chamfered and rebated mullion window of 4-lights with hoodmould, now botched with unmoulded mullions to a 3 and a 2-light window. On the ground floor there is also a smaller chamfered mullion window of 2-lights. On the first floor the chamfered rebated surrounds of 3 windows now house modern casements. The porch has a triangular-headed doorway on the return side with chamfered reveal and on first floor a double chamfered mullion window of 2-lights. Rendered chimney in left hand gable. Block to left is C19, with 4 small 2-light windows with unmoulded mullions and reveals, and similar doorway. At rear of older block is a small chamfered opening oppoite main fireplace. Inside heavy beams and joists.
