Nos 116 and 118 (Bay House)

House of C17, formerly an inn, with left hand end (No 118) perhaps somewhat later. Roughcast over rubble with stone slate roof and stone ridge. Two storeys and three unit plan. Ground floor has two-light square mullion window at extreme left and double chamfered stone mullion windows with hoodmoulds of five and four lights. These last are repeated above without the hoodmoulds, but extreme left has two small double chamfered surrounds. Plain doorway and modern door. Kneelers to right hand gable. Three chimneys.

Inside at rear is a walled-in two-light double chamfered stone mullion window. There is a small square fireplace with chamfered surround and another with an elliptical head, and a stone spiral stair in the left hand gable. Cambered tie beam to No 118.
