Details

BENTHAM CROW TREES YARD, LOW BENTHAM SD 66 NW 5/1 No 7 and 8 Crow Trees Cottage - II Pair of cottages. Early C18 with C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, stone dressings, tile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. No 7: central entrance, plain surround; c1980 door. To left is ground floor 2-light recessed flat-faced mullioned window and former 3-light window to right, mullions now gone. On upper floor is left- hand 2-light recessed flat-faced mullioned window right-hand former 3-light, with left-hand mullion enlarged and right-hand mullion now gone; C20 casements. No 8: left-hand entrance, plain surround; rectangular fanlight and 4 panel door. One 2-light flat-faced recessed mullioned window on each floor to right; C20 casements. c1900 window above door; sashes with-glazing bars. Central ridge stack.
