3/298 Pair of Greenslade headstones about - llm north east of the west wall of the north aisle of the Church of St John the Baptist

GV II

Pair of headstones. Late C18. Slate. The northern headstone is round-headed and commemorates Martha Greenslade, died 1788. It has a decorative border and a clockface carved in the head flanked by a trumpeting angel and the kneeling figure of piety. The southern headstone has a scrolly head with canted corners and commemorates Maria Greenslade, died 1785.
