Cottage with date 1674 and initials I.S. carved on pad to main beam over
inglenook fireplace. Timber framed and rendered with thatched, half-hipped roof
and ridge stack. Of two bay and lobby entry plan. One storey and attics.
Two dormers and two C20 windows on either side of doorway. Inside some wall
framing with short upward bracing is visible. The floors are carried on
original clamps pegged to the studs.
