G.V. II
House and gateways. Early C18, refronted early C19. Squared limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings. Collyweston slate roof, raised stone coped gables, 2 stone gable stacks with moulded cornices. L-plan. 2 storey plus attics, 3 bay front, plain plinth, 2 flush bands moulded cornice and panelled parapet. Central panelled door with plain overlight, panelled reveals, covered by a Tuscan portico, with columns in antis having a plain frieze with moulded cornice, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To first floor are 3 similar windows, the central one of which has moulded stone architrave. In the roof are 2 gabled dormers with leaded cheeks. To the left a segmental archway with planked double doors and moulded imposts, having columns in antis. Above is a moulded cornice and panelled parapet with ball finials. To right a pair of square gate piers with moulded cornices and coped tops.
