2/99 Wenning Cottage - - II
House, probably mid C19th with C17th remains. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof. Main part of facade of 4 bays with a straight joint between the 3rd and 4th bays. At the left is a taller addition of punched sandstone blocks which has a 2-storey canted bay window. At the front it has 2 lights separated by a chamfered mullion. The lights are sashed with glazing bars. The main part of the facade has sashed windows with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds, except for the 3rd bay, which has a single-storey canted bay window with 2 lights at the front. To the left of the 1st bay on the ground floor there is a 2-light hollow-chamfered mullioned window of C19th appearance. To the right of the 3rd bay on the 1st floor there is a blocked one-light chamfered window which appears to be C17th. Left-hand bay has single-storey porch with parapet and outer Tudor-arched doorway. Chimney to left of left-hand addition, to left and right of main facade, and between 3rd and 4th bays.
