GV II
Pair of houses, probably C18th, re-fronted mid or late C19th. Scored render with stone slate roof behind embattled parapet. 2 storeys. Windows and doors have plain stone surrounds. No.41, at the left, is of 2 bays. The left-hand ground-floor window is of 2 tall lights separated by a flat-faced mullion. To the right of the door, which is in the 2nd bay, is a window on the ground floor only. The 1st floor windows have a sill band. No. 43 is of 2 bays and has ground-floor window of 2 tall lights separated by a flat-faced mullion.The sills of the 1st floor windows interrupt a band. The doorway, between bays, has a keystone inscribed: 'TEI 1724'. Chimneys on gables and between houses. At the rear No.41 has flush chamfered mullioned windows and a re-set C17th lintel.
